dependencies
Indeed glibc-2.11.3-10.1.x86_64.rpm is missing in the repo whereas
all
other parts of glibc are at 2.11.3-10.1.
If I choose to keep 2.11.3-8.1 zypper dup decides :
The following package is going to change architecture: glibc-devel x86_64 -> i686
Why ?
because there is no x86_64 glibc in the factory tree atm, so zypper has no choice.
Well,if it would be really smart, it could also ask/try to keep the obsolete but installed 2.11.3-8.1.x86_64 version. And what's the That's solution 1.
Yes, I've chosen Solution 1 for glibc-2.11.3-8.1.x86_64. But then zypper decided to upgrade glibc-devel-2.11.3-8.1.x86_64 to its i686 counterpart without further asking. So finally we get glibc-2.11.3-8.1.x86_64 and glibc-devel-2.11.3-10.1.i686 installed. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
