If you do not want to maintain packages that keep running correctly with the underlying system changes then you should find another person to take care of them or file a drop request.
Ok, I'll consider that next time.
Before "systemd breaks them" (not sure what that means, as the unit format and documented/expected behaviour has not changed)
Oh, for example the whole "systemd's friends now take care of power management" which was a subtle change in default that obscurely broke running sytems.
they will first break when autotools, compiler, or whatever library they depend changes.
That's easy breakage: compile failures are easy to fix. They don't silently break a previously running system. -- Stefan Seyfried "If your lighter runs out of fluid or flint and stops making fire, and you can't be bothered to figure out about lighter fluid or flint, that is not Zippo's fault." -- bkw -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
