For now: Richard and Yaloki asked for contrib-unstable branch. Let's discuss it. What is the advantage of contrib-unstable over users OBS anyway ?
I think this lowers the number of people testing it even more. And home:* is the unstable branch of contrib in the general case, so I see little use of it. And after all, it's only developed against Factory and Factory alone has not enough users to split it.
So I'm pretty much against that suggestion.
I think it _increases_ the number of people testing compared to the number of people testing home:*. I see contrib-unstable as a way to increase the usefulness of Factory (much the same way as a Factory-unstable would increase that of Factory). But yeah, if people do not agree that we need something like what Debian calles the "testing" repository then there is no point in contrib-unstable. After all we already provide what Debian calls "experimental" - Factory.
