No, v2 clearly states you need to provide binaries and sources the same way. Binaries on DVD => Sources must be available on DVD. A _service file won't do.
yes, we would need to put the obscpio files also on the source DVD then.
If you do that, you can just as well stop compressing src.rpms and be done with the issue
