Grafana is a widely used tool to visualize time series (and other) data. It can get this data from a wide variety of backends and can unify those in dashboards with attractive graphs.
Nice! metrics.opensuse.org is using Grafana from devel:languages:go. I'll switch it out for server:monitoring once request 583875 is accepted.
The openSUSE-release-tools package (-metrics subpackage) is providing the dashboards directory which would be cleanly replaced by this package.
%{_localstatedir}/lib/%{name}/dashboards Yes I forgot about those. Same goes for the plugin subdir in the same place. I'll update the spec file. Also note that grafana 5 brings a neat dashboard (and data source) provisioning now. http://docs.grafana.org/administration/provisioning/#dashboards I.e. dashboard files can now live anywhere iiuc.
