Hi,
There are at least 3 different compilers installed, but still:
cd '/home/monkey9/Documents/libdvdcss-1.2.9/libdvdcss-1.2.9' monkey9@tribal-sfn2:~> cd '/home/monkey9/Documents/libdvdcss-1.2.9/libdvdcss-1.2.9' monkey9@tribal-sfn2:~/Documents/libdvdcss-1.2.9/libdvdcss-1.2.9> ./configure checking build system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu checking host system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu checking target system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c checking whether build environment is sane... yes checking for gawk... gawk checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes checking for gcc... no checking for cc... no checking for cc... no checking for cl... no configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH See `config.log' for more details.
the list with compilers in factory10.3 is very thin i think.....
I mean the problem is that the source is for 32 bits only. I probed to make the configure in opensuse 10.3 beta 3, and it has no error: ./configure checking build system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu checking host system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu checking target system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c checking whether build environment is sane... yes checking for gawk... gawk checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes checking for gcc... gcc checking for C compiler default output file name... a.out checking whether the C compiler works... yes checking whether we are cross compiling... no checking for suffix of executables... checking for suffix of object files... o checking whether we are using the GNU C compiler... yes checking whether gcc accepts -g... yes checking for gcc option to accept ANSI C... none needed checking for style of include used by make...
