Yes, sure, but the proposal is, sorry to say, a little bit late. The distribution reached the Beta stage yesterday and is stabilizing right now.
In general, I'd say that a rework or redesign of the idea behind patterns should _really_ wait for openSUSE 10.3. The patterns have been worked on for weeks.
