[opensuse-factory] sudoers file permissions

Hi, Anybody know if the file permission change on /etc/sudoers from 0640 to 0440 is intentional? - I am syncing /etc/sudoers between multible SuSE boxes using rdist over ssh and on my 10.3/Factory box sudo started complaining. - For the time being I have a cronjob on that box that resets the permissions but it is kind of annoying.
