After an update yesterday I'm unexpectedly back to the KDE4 konsole application. Looking at the list of installed packages I see that the update pulled in konsole4-part:
S | Name | Type | Version | Arch | Repository --+---------------+-------------+-------------+--------+--------------- i | konsole | package | 15.04.1-1.1 | x86_64 | Tumbleweed-OSS i | konsole-part | package | 15.04.1-1.1 | x86_64 | Tumbleweed-OSS i | konsole4-part | package | 4.14.3-1.1 | x86_64 | Tumbleweed-OSS i | Konsole | application | | noarch | Tumbleweed-OSS
There were no conflicts and the installation verifies OK, but it seems that konsole-part and konsole4-part shouldn't be able to be installed at the same time?
yes they should! Luckily the only things I'm still using from KDE is konsole and yakuake (OK, and sometimes okular). yakuake needs konsole4-part. konsole needss konsole-part.
