After the update with zypper dup I was left with a non working kmail.
The information after using the konsole to start kmail was:
kmail: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/libKF5ContactEditor.so.5: undefined symbol: _ZN9KContacts9Addressee16staticMetaObjectE
No further explanation. Other kmail users with the same problem?
Solutions, anybody? Sounds like you used "zypper up" instead of "zypper dup".
Sorry Fabian, haven't used zypper up in years. Must be something else.
This is likely related to the move of kcontacts from KDE Applications to KDE Frameworks, which results in a version downgrade, which "zypper up" can't deal with. It might be caused by mixing incompatible repos or having packages locked. Please open a bug report and provide the output of: rpm -qif /usr/lib64/libKF5ContactEditor.so.5 /usr/lib64/libKF5Contacts.so.5 Cheers, Fabian -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
