Trying to install kernel-source-2.6.25-rc7.git2.HEAD_20080327201225.x86_64.rpm on 10.3 with rpm-4.4.2-140 gives me:
rpm -i --force /home/mk/kernel-source-2.6.25-rc7.git2.HEAD_20080327201225.x86_64.rpm error: Failed dependencies: rpmlib(PayloadIsLzma) <= 4.4.2-1 is needed by kernel-source-2.6.25-rc7.git2.HEAD_20080327201225.x86_64
The previous KOTD ( 2.6.25-rc6-git5-HEAD_20080326045029) didn't have that dependency . Is that a packaging error ?

Perhaps you missed the earlier post from Stephan: *************************************************************** Hi, I kind of hinted it already, but we finally made the switch: rpm is using lzma payload now: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-commit/2008-03/msg01081.html Expect a painful transistion phase. We found already quite some places where we needed to install newer tools and I'm waiting for more to come. But it's really worth it.
