xorg-x11-server in Factory is still at 1.9.3 release ; however latest stable release is in 1.10.x branch.... As feature freeze is 2 weeks away, and as an xorg update is not trivial, does that mean that openSUSE 12.1 will keep a 11 months old xorg server in november ?
In case you didn't notice. 1.9.3 was featured in 11.4. I brought this subject up here well over a month ago, but don't remember what response I got, or even getting any response. Fedora 15 was released in May with 1.10.1, CentOS 6.0 last month with 1.10.3.
Mandriva 2011 was just released with 1.10.3 (and KDE as only DTE). -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
