I do not intend to shoot the messenger, so please don't take this personally, but Imho it's quite the mistake and regression from the promised way ALP would be developed. Could a path to contribution that is not terrible be please made a high priority? Otherwise, ALP is really not that much different from SLE (at the moment at least).
