Not a openSuSE 11.3 problem
No, it happens on 11.2 also
When I run "mandb" it works correctly but on many files it shows an error. Like with about all files with "::" in them and "What is parse for" on many others. I suspect that the :: is cauced by a lack of \:|: and the "psrse" question is due to a wrong format type.
I believe the "::" errors are from perldocs that aren't compatible as written with man.
What is the answer to the parse question?
Just guessing as I see the same, that the packages contained broken man files.
Is it fixable Running mandb twice seems to fix many problems.
didn't help me. I didn't try recreating the db. -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
