First thought wrt $SUBJ - http://mirrors.opensuse.org/ seems to be working fine.
The link didn't load, I waited a couple of minutes and then gave up.
mirrorbrain is working fine, but there seems to be a dire shortage of TW mirrors. Or something's wrong with the TW rsync packages?
TW rsync certainly has problems: seife@susi:~> rsync -z server:tmp/foo This rsync lacks old-style --compress due to its external zlib. Try -zz. Continuing without compression. rsync: link_stat "/home/seife/tmp/foo" failed: No such file or directory (2) rsync error: some files/attrs were not transferred (see previous errors) (code 23) at main.c(1665) [Receiver=3.1.2] rsync: [Receiver] write error: Broken pipe (32) seife@susi:~> rsync -zz server:tmp/foo rsync: on remote machine: --new-compress: unknown option rsync error: syntax or usage error (code 1) at main.c(1569) [server=3.1.0] rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (0 bytes received so far) [Receiver] rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(235) [Receiver=3.1.2] -- Stefan Seyfried "For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for nature cannot be fooled." -- Richard Feynman -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
