Hi Ian, 'svg' files are image files in vector format and are the standard file format for Inkscape. Is Inkscape installed on your system?
You could convert the "svg" to "PNG" OR "JPG" format with Inkscape. Thanks Tom. I'll have to install inkscape for that. I just thought that it would have been handled as transparently as a JPEG for images. It brings back memories of earlier in KDE4 when it was thought SVG would be
