Hi all,
This is NOT board intervention, this is just me ;)
This is NOT a SUSE thing, just my personal notes from oSC and such - but I think it's worth sharing: http://blog.jospoortvliet.com/2013/07/osc13-strategy-and-factory.html
Thanks, and thanks for including a pointer to Stephan's e-mail. After re-reading it I can certainly understand why there was little response. Unfortunately important information about changes in the integration model for Factory were hidden in a message that announced that perl 5.8 integration in Factory and that gcc integration is next. (says the one who writes 17 paragraph mails and expects people to read them on monday mornings :)
That's part of the problem: people don't even read weekly status reports and you expect them to coordinate on more complex things? I think the basic assumptions about developers are these: 1. people are lazy 2. people are simple 3. people don't want to hear what others say Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
