Project for designing a replacement for the openSUSE “headline” font Cholla by Jakub Steiner was chosen as a winner from Hack Week. Thus, i´m wondering whether it won´t be used by default instead Sans Serif for openSUSE 11.1. Or do you have any plan for using Cholla font elsewhere?
Cholla is the name of the proprietary font. Jimmac's is called FifthLeg I believe. You want it on the desktop? It's more suited for artwork purposes than desktop and documents I think. And it's not complete, I miss some Danish characters for example (æ, ø, å). However it might be a good idea to include it though (if it isn't there already, didn't check 11.1 for it), so people can easily use it for openSUSE related artwork. I had to dig around in svn to install it and use it for a website: http://suse.linuxin.dk/11.1/images/billeder/titel.png It's pretty neat. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
