What's the point of this? Are you going to damn the XML coded config files as well? What about the config files firefox uses? What about JSON files?
Firefox didn't have previous functionality to live up to.
On the contrary. Firefox was a lighter weight reduced function spin-off from the Mozilla Suite. Instead of being a full featured browser, it was stripped of many the Mozilla Suite browser's features and equipped with the concept of extensions that those who wished to regain lost functionality could utilize to restore them, and add others. Hold on to your hats, because Firefox 23 is going to lose even more traditional functionality. More dumbing down is on its way, e.g.: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=851702 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=851701 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=855370 -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
