I have also been using the git version on a test server without any issues so far. On Wed, Jun 5, 2024 at 1:48 AM Sid Boyce via openSUSE Factory < factory@lists.opensuse.org> wrote:

Hi all,
I wanted to start playing with Crowdsec, so I looked for packages, but found none.
TL;DR I packaged crowdsec and the CLI, tested a little locally and sent it to security in SR#1178378

I tried to massage the spec file and the application to be a little more in line with packaging in regards to immutable and usrmerge and such. At least most of the packaged files are now outside of /etc.
Any experienced users out that who would like to give it a spin?
As I wrote, I want to play with it, i.e. I have no experience yet and as such can only test the package basics...
Kind Regards, Johannes
I have been using the git version for at least 2 years on tumbleweed. Just upgraded to version 1.6.2.
Regards
Sid.
