[opensuse-factory] nut build on Tumbleweed - tex help needed

Hello all, At the moment our UPS tools package [1] fails to build on Tumbleweed. When I checked what's going on I found out there were missing texlive packages thus I added them. Yet even now the package fails to build with very helpful message of "pdflatex failed Unexpected error occured" this is not really helpful. I even tried to compare the output between Leap and TW (see pdflatex.diff) but that does not show any traceable output either. Anyone knows this stuff and maybe have suggestions how to make it more verbose or how to right away fix it? TIA Tom [1] https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/hardware/nut
