I consider networking essential - or do you have real use cases where networking is not needed at all?
of course. why should we have network? stanbdalone machines are nice. modem connection are still frequent (and in this case we don't have network), USB ADSL are not really network and should be let to a second stage and then brand new mother board have network adapters that are not always fine with Linux, not to mention laptops with proprietary wireless NW... I _never_ set the network on the first instal if I have cd/dvd (and, please, do not anymore ask for dhcp at install boot, 1 minute lost anytime for nothing usable at that moment, 1 minute last very long :-) jdd -- http://www.dodin.net Votez pour nous, merci - vote for us, thanks :-) http://musique.sfrjeunestalents.fr/artiste/Magic-Alliance/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
