I'm trying to install fastboot on my machine. I used to do that through android-utils from the Hardware subproject, but it seems that it got deleted.
Does anyone know from where I can install fastboot/android-utils? Or how I can find out why it got deleted etc?
I just installed the android -sdk into a directory, fastboot is then found under ~/android-sdk-linux/platform-tools/
Thanks for the tip. But I wanted to use openSUSE Tumbleweed to install it, as it can be done on other distributions as well. In the end I found it in someones obs user repository and branched it and installed in on my laptop, but it's not part of the official openSUSE Tumbelweed anymore.
Is there a way to find out, how and why that happened?
I recall this thread: https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-factory/2017-10/msg00001.html
Thanks! I don't follow the opensuse-factory closely (which is already an overstatement). I wonder if it would make sense to have a mechanism to inform users of a package that it will disappear if no-one steps up to maintain it. Any idea on that?
