Please really do this time :)
This snapshot is exceptional in 3 aspects:
- it updates python from 3.6 to 3.7 and bash from 4.4 to 5.0 and both changes were far from painless - we did a full rebuild of all packages (the last complete one was in summer 2018) - this is the first time since about 4 years that I was holding the hand of the release process while the release managers normally doing it are offline for various reasons.
So take extra care, it was done by amateurs :)
the "amateurs" appear to have done a professional job. tks I did experience one hickup, btrfsmaintenance failed upgrade. looks like rpm cound not complete removal of current package. stopped zypper, cleared locks/flags, rpm -e <package>, resumed zypper dup, reinstalled btrfsmaintenance (I am not currently using btrfs) and rebooted. system came back up as expected and see no problems. tks much for your continued efforts -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
