That is not true in general. Esp the mode="buildtime" services may still be important.

Or do you mean that you remove _service files on import? IMHO at least the buildtime services should stay, we have no alternative to them. And they don't harm any fixed source policy.
I mean the remote run server side source service will no longer work. Of course, the build related services are unaffected. The _source file remain regardless and is unfiltered. - Adam
