The idea here is not to overwrite history.
Which history? Is force-push allowed, or example? For a large number of packages a single history can be kept. There is no need to have a separate history for Tumbleweed and SLES. I think both will naturally use two different instances. Is there a way for packages to opt-in to such unified history? In other words: "git push $remote HEAD" to different remotes? Olaf
