Same here. But have a look at this output ....
# locate ImagePlugin /usr/share/appdata/digiKam-ImagePlugin_Color.metainfo.xml /usr/share/appdata/digiKam-ImagePlugin_Decorate.metainfo.xml /usr/share/appdata/digiKam-ImagePlugin_Enhance.metainfo.xml /usr/share/appdata/digiKam-ImagePlugin_FxFilters.metainfo.xml /usr/share/appdata/digiKam-ImagePlugin_Transform.metainfo.xml
That's libzypp not understanding AppStream I'm afraid. Actually I though libzypp is only looking after *.appdata.xml files. Would make sense. In essence, the metainfo.xml files are there to define 'plugins' to software - so that a Software Center (at this moment GNOME Software is the only one we have in openSUSE, EvolveOS and Ubuntu have other Software Centers using the meta data) can show what extensions are avaialble for an application (Software is based on Applications and extensions - not packages) For this issue at hand, two things should happen: * libzypp/libsolv should not treat *metainfo.xml as applications (apps also have a corresponding .desktop file, which is referenced in the .appdata.xml file). There was just a new version of libsolv that addressed applications in some way.. not sure if this report was with the older or newer version of libsolv app handling) * in line of preparing for more software centers, digikam might consider to split out the extensions that have a metainfo.xml file - thus allowing to install/remove them individually from a software center.
