When Tumbleweed first replaced lastlog with lastlog2, lastlog still existed as a symlink to lastlog2. Which made it possible for programs to keep calling lastlog like nothing was changed. Now it seems that the symlink is no longer set.
Is this intentional? And if yes, is there a good reason for not having lastlog as a symlink to lastlog2?
The standalone lastlog2 implementation got merged in util-linux, looks like that does not provide the compat symlink.
Do you think that is a bug or a feature? Cheers, Miika
