For reference and in order to test the package build *and* to keep the nvidia driver under zypper regime, you also might:
cd src osc co X11\:Drivers\:Video/nvidia-gfx04
/nv-build/src > osc co X11\:Drivers\:Video/nvidia-gfx04 Server returned an error: HTTP Error 404: Not Found Error getting meta for project 'X11:Drivers:Video' package 'nvidia-gfx04' X11:Drivers:Video/nvidia-gfx04
cd X11\:Drivers\:Video/nvidia-gfx04 osc service dr osc build sudo zypper in .../RPMS/x86_64/*.rpm
Requires a OBS account, though. Note that, from time to time, the osc service call fails, if Stefan is quicker than NVidia publishing the new release on http://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86_64/ but this mainly concerns nvidia-gfx05 builds.
I do have an OBS account. tks, -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
