Btw, your crash seems to be related to the nvidia driver, at least that's where it crashes.

After some digging, I've found the removing the Notify plugin (from plugins dir) fix the crash.. Weirds things are: does not segfault if I run vlc from gdb ! I can play video but without sound.. I've side by side Leap and 13.2 (same drivers, same vlc..) but segfault happens only on Leap.
