You have orphaned packages on a fresh installation?
Excuse me stupid, but what exactly constitutes an "orphaned" package? A package that is not from any configured repository or something?
Cheers, MH
Yes if you install from the dvd, then put the source as disabled then the package is orphaned cause it doesn't know its parent. But if you activate the online repository, it should find then its familly again :-) I would qualify the non presence of online repo as a bug if the installer missed them. -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch openSUSE Member & Board, fsfe fellowship GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
