openSUSE 13.1-RC1 (from DVD) KDE 4.11.12
On the lower right corner of the DE the time being displayed is UTC and I have been unsuccessful at trying to change either the actual time displayed or the time zone (mine is Los Angeles).
When I right click on the time display and select "Adjust Date & Time", I am able to select the Los Angeles time zone. When I then supply the administrator password and click OK I get a message saying it's unable to reach the internet.
Is /etc/resolv.conf empty?
NTP has been set up successfully using Yast2 and is apparently working.
I am attaching a *.tar.bz2 file containing the ntp and message logs and a screenshot of the error message in hopes of getting a suggestion to solve this dilemma.
