Hi Stephan,
Seems that OBS is on your side :-) The job to publish of Factory has been stuck for the last 5 days, so I guess that nobody can update.
But the FTP repo is broken as it is I'm afraid.
Greetings, Stephan
Then I guess it is indeed the 61-msft.rules in /usr/lib/udev/rules.d I guess that systemd is complaining that it can't open the filesystems (indicating that it is running/waiting for the local filesystem job) and then it is not even possible to open an emergency shell as that also the root system is no longer recognizable.
Three ways to resolve it and all three requires a LiveCD to boot from
1) remove /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/61-msft.rules and rebuild the initrd. 2) Use the physical device for the filesystems in grub and fstab (/dev/sda1, etc) 3) Use UUID's instead of UID's.
I guess that Robert Milasan did something strange with UID's in that particular 61-msft.rules
I managed to repair my laptop by downgrading udev and libudev1 to factory-snapshot. Thanks for looking into this. Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
