Sorry, this is nonsense. Sysvinit is little above a collection of bash scripts and each of this scripts can fail when something changes in the system. And systemd support _is_ changing the system - you can stay on Evergreen for another decade if you don't want changes, but as long as changes exist, keeping sysvinit support alive is WORK.
