On the contrary I feel it was entirely needed. His attempted vilification of openSUSE, it's process and members on the mailing lists have been un-checked and un-abated. It seems he's taken every oppertunity to bash openSUSE in some way while glorifiying another disto as his panacea.
If he had been constructively critical it would be an entirely different thing, but I don't think he has. I think he has been negative to a fault and on many occassions I see his anti openSUSE rants as deliberate attempts to be devisive.
I welcome open debate but It sickens me when people try to use these mailing lists as their personal soap box to air their grievances.
