All installations are fully funcitonal on multiboot and were done via HTTP, initialized via Grub loading previously downloaded installation kernel and initrd.
can you elaborate? I don't understand what you mean
A 755 I don't have, but it has been told to me that the 755 has a BIOS that not unusually causes installation trouble with Linux, so you may want to investigate outside the openSUSE forums for possible clues to your trouble.
<HS> yes, it's a detailed bios, but with somewhat curious results. The default bios config for drives makes it impossible to install... Windows (7, originally delivered with vista :-(()) There are 4 (don't remember) disk setup, raid auto (two options), raid always, legacy. problem is when you have two disks default is one of the raid auto option, that allows linux, but not Windows. I could install Debian jessie on the second disk with it. other raid option allows Windows on the first disk, but the second one can't be booted Legacy don't works with two disks So I had to validate "Raid always" (Same as my main HP machine) and wait at each boot the time the raid bios sees there is no raid :-(), then I can install anything. </HS> but this have nothing to see with TW (hopefully). TW install fails to find (NET install) at least some packages (many libwx_gtk... ones - I got some camera screen copies. boot works with grub, but then you get a lot of red [FAIL] to mount... for BTRFS subvolumes, and even /home. even booting with "3" (without X) don't succeed I now have the TW dvd, I will try to install from there, but I could install 13.2 without any problem. sha1 numbers for TW are broken, so i can't verify the isos, may be it's only a corrupted iso problem (but I doubt it) jdd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
