Try it.
I have made a xorg-x11-driver-video with the intel driver reverted to 2.9.1, it required just a minor fix to build against current Xorg. I've tested it and it works flawlessly, with KMS disabled it can work around the memory corruption after hibernation bug (https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13811). For those who want to test it, the package is in home:gberh.
Can we make this available for 11.3 and if so, how should it be packaged?
It would need to be a seperate package and the driver been renamed (the file, but also some internal structures).
