On 2013-11-13 10:15 (GMT+0100) Richard Weinberger composed: Have you been using Tumbleweed all along, or did you just switch to it from 12.3 (xf86-video-intel-2.20.19-2.1.1)(or did Tumbleweed just make the switch from 12.3 to 13.1?)? When the xf86-video-intel driver was upgraded, was KDE upgraded from 4.10.5 to 4.11.2 too? If so, then the real problem may be the "fancy new tool", or maybe the old tool (krandr) didn't get removed and is conflicting with the new tool (kscreen). Exactly how is/was your multi screen configured, via xorg.conf*, or within KDE? If within KDE, what happens if you try the new tool with a virgin login/user? -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
