I just got a chance to compile qtpass from the pristine git source and it is working perfectly- so the problem is definitely the OpenSUSE package. As to passff, it looks like I am running into this bug: https://github.com/passff/passff/issues/421 I presume you are on Firefox ESR. Thanks for the reply. Charles
