Vmplayer is supossed to be executed in a server, and in the servers never is enabled the hybernation!
Wrong.
vmplayer is forbidden in Professional use. It is only for non-commercial use.
I use vmplayer as testing environment for openSUSE, and one of the tests is hibernation. It fails. vmplayer is just a "hardware", and opensuse fails one test in this specific hardware.
Vmplayer has its own menu for suspending, and it works perfectly. However, openSUSE hibernation, which is different (and really not used in practice).
I have several virtual machines, and do tests between them. When finished, I hibernate them, using vmplayer menu for suspending - not openSUSE own hibernation.
Please stop this absurd complaining.
Yes! This is a absurd complaining, because the same problem appear in other non Linux systems: http://superuser.com/questions/84271/how-to-recover-a-vmware-virtual-machine http://pubs.vmware.com/view-50/index.jsp?topic=/com.vmware.view.administrati... http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=2046009 http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1711 http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1000059 http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=688 You must file a bug in the vmware site! -- USA LINUX OPENSUSE QUE ES SOFTWARE LIBRE, NO NECESITAS PIRATEAR NADA Y NI TE VAS A PREOCUPAR MAS POR LOS VIRUS Y SPYWARES: http://www.opensuse.org/es/ Puedes visitar mi blog en: http://jerbes.blogspot.com.ar/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
