Maybe, but cdrtools has ceased to exist as a package as well. The only remnant is cdrkit-cdrtools-compat, and that only provides links to the tools that replaced it.
cdrtools never have been "replaced" by something... There was a group of hostile people at Debian that created a buggy variant from a very outdated version of cdrtools. Would you call this "replaced"? I wouln't, as people only replace things if the new thing is better. Also the debian code is dead since May 2007, while the orginal code is still maintained and enhanced on a reglar base.
