If you wan't interesting ideas for yast installer, I think you shoud look at katpan, the Pardus Yast2-installer equivalent, which purpose users optimisations. Of course it's only user preferences side. It could be great to purpose wifi configuration, drivers installation ( by using hardware detect backend ). Regards.
