We're almost done! The second release candidate is our last milestone before the 42.2 release.
The RC2 changes look longer than they are in zypper dup as several packages had to be rebuilt without changes to make sure their release counter is higher than in 42.1.
A big change is that the Mesa Nouveau 3D driver was split out to a separate package as KDE crashes with it on some NVidia cards.
As usual please report any bugs via bugzilla¹. Make sure to check and update the most annoying bugs list² and release notes³.
The gold master image will be prepared next week. Please submit any critical fixes ASAP.

I see 1113 new updates for my RC1 system. Will the final release update as many again, or will there just be tweaks? I'm trying to decide if I have the spare time and broadband quota to do this more than once this month. I'm very much enjoying the RC1 experience BTW.
