In Konqueror you can already do such a thing. Browse to an RPM, click on it and then select to install with YaST.
It should not be too difficult to make something like that for other browsers like Firefox to do the same.
Is it really asked too much for a user to know how to install software?: Is it really necessary to have a "KDE-1-click-software installation"? Is it necessary to install software from any file browser? I remember the times when software updates had to be installed in single-user mode (not with SuSE Linux, of course)... Not that I want it back, but some thinking before installing software is still required. Regards, Ulrich
