This is because you're not the submitter of the previous request so you can't supersede it. Just decline the review of existing / old SR, and submit the new SR without superseding the old one. That should work! Thank you Peter! Lubos On Tue, Oct 22, 2024 at 4:47 PM Peter Czanik <peter@czanik.hu> wrote:

Hi,
I just received a request to include syslog-ng in Leap 16.0 (https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/1215878). I'd love to accept it, but before that I have a couple of questions:
- what is the process, if I want to have syslog-ng in Leap 16.0, but the current state of syslog-ng packaging does not work on Leap 16.0? If I decline now, will there be a new request soon, or I should do that once fixing packaging is ready? If yes: how?
You can decline that is fine, ideally once it's fixed please submit it to openSUSE:Leap:16.0.
I have tried it, but ran into issues:
"leap155:~ # osc sr openSUSE:Factory syslog-ng openSUSE:Leap:16.0 Warning: failed to fetch meta data for 'openSUSE:Leap:16.0' package 'syslog-ng' (new package?) The following submit request is already open: 1215878. Supersede the old request? (y/n/c) y created request id 1217057 Server returned an error: HTTP Error 403: Forbidden You have no role in request 1215878
