Just had a long conversation with a friend using the i586 version of Tumbleweed. He suffered from a system clock, which was not synchronized. After setting the logical link /etc/services to /usr/etc/services, NTP did again its work.
While the workaround might be good for this single case, a better fix would be to a) fix nsswitch.conf b) disable nscd until someone figures why apparmor does not work for it. Because it is well possible that you will not only be missing /etc/services, but also other files/databases that are managed by nsswitch and cached by nscd. -- Stefan Seyfried "For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for nature cannot be fooled." -- Richard Feynman -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
