zypper in -R yast2
If I try this command, I got:
zypper: error while loading shared libraries: librpm-4.4.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Here zypper doesn't ask for librpm-4.4.so, and this is yesterday updated system to Factory.
Making the symlink: /usr/lib # ln -s librpm.so.0.0.0 librpm-4.4.so
Now I got: zypper: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libzypp.so.611: undefined symbol: hdrVec
libzypp.so.611 is here symlink to the libzypp.so.611.2.3, check yours. I'm wondering is rpm itself operational? On the other hand LiveCD should have correct files that you can copy on hard disk, then boot from hard disk and update. It can be some work to find all that has to be copied using rpm, but it should work. Another possibility can be to update system booted from LiveCD and then copy files to hard disk. And last with a least fun is to install M6 again and update it, although M7 is behind the corner. -- Regards, Rajko http://news.opensuse.org/category/people-of-opensuse/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
