This kind request of mine has been around since openSUSE 11.3. https://features.opensuse.org/310668 Why it has been ignored, I don't know. Apparently people don't mind to get DEAF when using headphones on a laptop + pulseAudio. As this issue poses an actual physical risk of damaging peoples health, please at least have a look at it.
