Or we manage a display-manager.service symlink via update-alternatives.
Hmm. This is uncharted territory for me. Does systemd really work with this ?
No idea. Someone has to try to find out if that's a viable solution :-)
And what would be the benefit ? Just to provide a simpler interface to the user to select the wanted DM ?
It makes an rcdisplay-manager possible, yes. It could also avoid having two display managers enabled at the same time. But then to achieve that the install section would somehow need to be externally attached to display-manager.service rather than xdm, kdm etc. cu Ludwig -- (o_ Ludwig Nussel //\ V_/_ http://www.suse.de/ SUSE LINUX GmbH, GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 21284 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstraße 5; 90409 Nürnberg; Germany -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
