chmod 4755 /usr/lib64/libexec/kcheckpass unlock works again.
Don't put kcheckpass under SUID root if you can: first, check your /etc/pam/ directories for .rpmnew files. With the proper configuration, kcheckpass doesn't need SUID root.
I only had a /etc/pam.d/login.rpmnew When I use this instead of the original one unlocking the screensaver still does not work when kcheckpass is not SUID root. BTW: in my 13.2 installation with the original (from the official 13.2 and related update repositories) kde4 kcheckpass is also SUID root, and I am quite sure I did not set this myself. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
